Shotcrete Nozzleman & Steel Fixers, QLD

Our clients QLD head office is located in sunny Brisbane, although their current projects range from Brisbane, Gold Coast and North Queensland. They deliver a range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete and simulated rock, retention & foundation piling.

They have an ongoing need for experienced above-ground Shotcrete Nozzlemen & Steel Workers, to assist on their multiple projects.

What you could be doing!

• Operating concrete pumping equipment and compressors.
• Monitoring application of shotcrete and consistency of concrete supplied.
• Applying, finishing, and cleaning up shotcrete materials.
• Fitting spacers and 'chairs'.
• Fixing steel to concrete bases.
• Tying rebar together with wire, clips, or welds to build up sections.
• Hand work, moving materials, clearing terrain, site preparation, and shovelling basic equipment operation.
• Grouting experience.
• Offside drilling.
• Full/Unlimited working rights in Australia.
• Understanding of WHS policies and procedures.

What we need from you!

• White Card.
• EWP>11mtrs.
• Working at heights.
• Full drivers license and reliable transport.
• Familiarity with the different methods of shotcrete application.
• Experience with installing and tying together steel bars and mesh.
• Ability to pass a medical assessment.
• Fit tested in the last 12 months.
• Comfortability with both local and away work.

Suitable candidates that are Dogman ticketed are highly desirable!
