Our clients QLD head office is located in sunny Brisbane, although their current projects range from Brisbane, Gold Coast and North Queensland. They deliver a range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete and simulated rock, retention & foundation piling.

This opportunity is perfect for those with experience in concreting, steel fixing, and civil construction who are seeking an exciting new venture in a dynamic industry full of promising opportunities.

Candidates must be enthusiastic about learning the specific details of our clients' industry.

The good stuff:

• Negotiable above Award Casual rates + pen & allowances.
• Monday - Friday (some Saturdays may be required).
• Local and away works available.
• LAHA - where applicable.
• Fulltime opportunity - after 6 months.
• Opportunity for obtaining further tickets that are required for the role.

What about you?

• Comfortable with being taught the ins/outs of our client's industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Previous experience in a civil construction/earthwork/ground stabilisation industry.
• Any steel fixing, concreting, grouting, drilling experience - highly regarded.
• EWP (High Risk) & Working at Heights ticket - highly regarded.
• Machine or Dogman tickets are desirable.
• Must be able to complete local and away works.

All candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination, including a D&A screening.

What you could be doing!

• Site preparation, manual labouring and handling duties.
• Liaising with Supervisors & Leading hands.
• Lead drilling or offside drilling - depending on experience.
• All aspects of grouting.
• Vertical steel fixing or learning to develop existing skills.
• Assisting the shotcrete nozzleman.
• Machine operation - for those ticketed.
