Geotechnical Driller, QLD

Our client delivers a range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete and simulated rock, retention & foundation piling.

If you are an experienced Geotechnical Rotary Driller and you are looking to change industries and learn a valuable trade with a well-established Southeast Queensland-based company, then this could be the job for you!

Requirements for the role:

Please note we are not currently seeking any diamond, RC or other mining drillers.

• Rotary, Anchor, Soil Mount or Mud Rotary Drilling experience - MUST
• White card
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ground Engineering experience
• Any additional tickets would be advantageous - EWP >11 metres & Working at Heights

Suitable candidates that are Dogman Ticketed are highly desirable!

Duties of the role, not limited to:

• Rotary Drilling, Anchor Drilling, Soil Mount Drilling, Mud Rotary Drilling
• Working with C6, Hutte & Birdie drill rigs.
• Setting up temporary and permanent ground anchors
• Use of micro piles
• Working with soil nails and rock bolts
• Geothermal drilling
• Core drilling for exploration purposes
• Bracing
• Setting up rock wall mesh/steel fixing
• Shotcreting/Concrete spraying operations
• Off siding
• Lifting and carrying materials
