WHS Co-Ordinator , NSW

Telum is working with a national company that is a market leader in precast concrete products.

We are seeking WHS Co-ordinator to work at their site in Rutherford.

The role involves working collaboratively with team members to achieve risk reduction / management, injury prevention and continual improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with teams to maintain the health safety and environmental systems.
• Working with teams to ensure compliance with internal and legislative requirements.
• Support the business with internal and external audits.
• Continuously assess the work environment for injury prevention, by engaging employees to work a culture of continuous improvement.
• Investigate incidents and workplace injuries.
• Maintaining files and documentation to meet internal and legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Previous work experience in a construction, civil or precast environment
• Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, to improve safety, efficiencies and reliability.
• Experience working in a high-risk environment and driving a safety culture.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and able to be completing tasks autonomously without direction.
• Cert IV in a WHS minimum
