Precast Steel Fixer, NSW

Telum are actively searching for an experienced steel fixer to join our team in Bankstown, NSW!

We represent an industry leading precast product manufacturer, who specialise in providing bespoke storm water drainage solutions across the east coast of Australia.

You will be tasked with working in a small team of steel fixers to assemble cages, tanks, tables and many different precast designs.
You must be competent at reading and interpreting steel fixing designs, cutting and tieing steel, bending bars and organising materials.
Previous exposure to pouring and finishing concrete would be highly regarded.

This opportunity is on a temporary to permanent basis, following a 4 month probabtion period as a casual employee.

Requirements: -

• At least 2 years steel fixing exposure - previous precast experience preferred
• All necessary steel fixing equipment
• Own transport
• Previous employment references
• Availability to work 5/6 days per week with overtime where required
